Since 1970, the National Youth Sports Program has drawn hundreds of children in the Greater Cleveland area to Case Western Reserve University for a summer program filled with athletic opportunities, educational enrichment, and nutrition and health services.
Dennis 鈥淐oach鈥� Harris has led the program since 1996 and was responsible for the addition of its academic component. While building NYSP at CWRU, he has been a passionate advocate for federal funding of the program and works to launch outreach programs at other universities in Ohio and around the country.
