Director of the First Amendment Clinic Andy Geronimo was quoted recently in an article about a new, interactive course offered by Northeast Ohio Solutions Journalism Collaborative and the Cleveland Documenters which teaches people how to access local public records.
In the article on wksu.org, Geronimo shared that public records can provide 鈥渙ne of the best ways鈥� to learn about how your local government works.
鈥淭here鈥檚 also an accountability element to it 鈥� to serve as a public check on the authority of government,鈥� he said.
