Jennifer Hadingham, PhD joined the CWRU community in 2020 with over 20 years of experience in faculty educational development. 

Hadingham began her career in 2001 at the University of the Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, South Africa, working as an educational development consultant in its Center for Learning, Teaching and Development (CLTD).

In 2011, she moved to New York to take up the position of Assistant Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the University of Rochester, a position she held for eight years. Here, she expanded faculty development offerings to include teaching and mentoring training, graduate teaching assistant training, and undergraduate peer-led team learning classes, amongst others.

365betÌåÓýÔÚÏßÊÀ½ç±­ the start of the pandemic in 2020, she relocated to UCITE at Case Western Reserve University, and has been leading programs such as the UCITE Learning Fellows, AIIDE (Advancing Intentional Individualized Design for Educators) TLC, and the graduate and undergraduate Teaching Assistant training programs. In addition, she has aided in the creation of a university-wide book club focused on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and how this translates into best practice in the classroom.

She also teaches a semester-long course for graduate students and postdocs who are planning a future in academia, UNIV 401: College Teaching Preparation, in  fall, spring and summer.
