Ben Vinson III, provost and executive vice president, was recently elected to the Council on Library and Information Resources� (CLIR) board.
Vinson joined two other members elected to the board during the organization’s fall meeting:
- Asma Naeem, chief curator at the Baltimore Museum of Art; and
- Sandra Phoenix, executive director of the HBCU Library Alliance.
CLIR, a nonprofit organization, “aspires to transform the information landscape to support the advancement of knowledge.� It works with libraries, cultural institutions and higher learning communities on learning, research and teaching initiatives.
