Developmental Therapeutics

The overall vision of the Developmental Therapeutics (DT) Program is to discover, develop, and evaluate novel cancer therapeutics that target pathways underlying cancer progression. As part of this vision, DT program members dissect mechanisms of disease response or resistance in novel investigator-initiated clinical trials across all diseases. DT program members translate promising laboratory-based research, bringing forth new therapeutic agents developed in-house.

Program Aims

  • Interrogate cancer pathways to identify targets for new and efficacious therapeutics.
  • Elucidate molecular mechanisms of therapeutic resistance and predictive biomarker response.
  • Implement early-phase clinical trials around novel pathway targets, new agents, and combinational approaches.
